Interfilm Continues to Expand
Two facilities, one in Glastonbury, CT, and another in North Aurora, IL, recently added warehouse space to increase our ability to service customers as volumes and products increase.
In Glastonbury, CT, 18,000 square feet of warehouse were added to the existing building. This modification provides much needed space and enables future upgrades to the converting area. The total building footage is now 46,000 square feet. Glastonbury also increased capacity with the addition of an 80-inch state-of-art slitter rewinder last fall. This facility primarily serves the northeastern United States.
North Aurora, IL, also expanded its facility, leasing an additional 17,000 square feet. The total square footage is now 58,000 square feet. We will be adding another state-of-art slitter rewinder to the North Aurora in Spring 2009. Our investments in plant and equipment in the past two years set this plant apart as having the most up-to-date slitting technology among all of our four converting operations. Located only 30 minutes outside of Chicago, this plant primarily services the Midwest.
