Greenville, S.C. - Interfilm Holdings Inc., a leading national value-added distributor of thin gauge plastic films, has moved into new corporate offices that include its expanded Southeast converting facility. The 90,000 square foot building is two miles from the company’s prior location and includes a 36 percent increase in size over Interfilm’s previous facility.

The new building provides expanded capacity for operations and warehousing as well as improved material flow for greater production efficiencies. Additionally, there is adequate land for future expansion, according to Donnie Thompson, president and chief executive officer of Interfilm.

“This expansion allows Interfilm to better serve our customers in the Southeast as well as nationally,” Thompson added. “We’re extremely excited to be in our new facility and feel that its completion demonstrates Interfilm’s commitment to the continued growth of our business.

“In a time of economic uncertainty, we believe this facility will help us keep that pledge to expand our business,” Thompson stated.

As a leading converter and distributor of thin gauge plastic films, Interfilm’s products include polyester, polypropylene, polystyrene, cellophane, brushed films, compostable films and metal adhesion films. Interfilm markets encompass labels and graphic arts, flexible packaging, folding carton, envelopes, flexible plastic air ducts and industrial films.

The physical address for the new headquarters and plant is 127 Turningstone Court, Greenville, S.C. 29611. Interfilm’s mailing address and phone numbers remain the same:

P.O. Box 51128, Piedmont, S.C. 29673. Telephone 864-269-4690, toll free at 1-800-648-4828 and the fax number 864-269-5048.

Interfilm also operates converting plants in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; Glastonbury, Conn.; Guilford, Conn., and North Aurora, Ill.

Recent Achievements at Interfilm

In addition to expanding its headquarters and Southeast converting facility, Interfilm for the first time exhibited at two major industry trade shows: Labelexpo Americas 2008 and Pack Expo 2008. Both of the successful experiences in Chicago helped introduce Interfilm to new and potential customers.

In 2007, Interfilm made international news with its acquisition of Brushfoil LLC, the world’s leader in metallized brushed films for labels, lamination and high tech appliance and automotive applications.
