January 1, 2008 - New 80" Slitter Rewinder Installed in Glastonbury Facility
Santa came early to Interfilm’s Glastonbury, CT, facility, delivering a new high-speed 80” slitter rewinder. The new Kampf Conslit II is designed to deliver excellent roll quality and maximum throughput. Nameplate speed is over 2,600 feet per minute, and the slit width range is from 2.0to 80 inches. In addition, the design emphasizes operator safety with guarding, safe zones, and automated material handling. Bill LaCroix, Plant Manager for the Glastonbury Operation, is pleased with this new addition. “The addition of this slitter increases our 80-inch capacity and provides even greater flexibility for processing the wide range of products we supply to our customers."
The Glastonbury Plant has seven wide slitters as well as two doctor machines. Interfilm's Glastonbury facility has been supplying the northeastern United States and Canada for over forty years.
October 15, 2007- Interfilm Acquires Brushfoil
Easley, South Carolina, U.S.A. - - Interfilm Holdings Inc., a national valued-added distributor of industrial films, today announced it has acquired the business and assets of Brushfoil LLC, based in Guilford, Connecticut, U.S.A.
Brushfoil is a leading global manufacturer of brushed films and papers that enhance the appearance of consumer products throughout the world. During the past three years, Brushfoil has accomplished a successful 2005 product introduction into Europe, achieved a threefold increase of its Guilford facilities to 15,000 square feet in 2006, and in 2007 earned ISO 9001:2000 certification and expanded distribution of its products into the growing South America market.
Founded in 1981, privately held Interfilm has its headquarters and a manufacturing facility in Easley, S.C. It has grown into one of the leading film converters for industrial markets through product line expansion, increased sales coverage and acquisitions. In addition to Brushfoil’s Guilford location, Interfilm’s other manufacturing locations include Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Glastonbury, Conn., and North Aurora, Ill. All facilities are located in the United States of America.
Terms of the Brushfoil transaction were not disclosed.

All of Brushfoil's employees will continue with the business and will continue to operate from the location in Guilford, Conn.
